Job Description At The Fairmont Chateau Whistler, our Shuttle Bus Drivers ensure that our guests have a seamless and effortless trip to Whistler Village. This position is an integral part of our winter operations and our Guest Services team.
Starting Pay Rate: $26.05 per hour
We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years.
What you will be doing: Consistently offers professional, engaging, and friendly serviceSafely transport hotel guests to and from the villageProper maintenance and cleanliness of the hotel shuttle busAssist the Door Attendants at the Front Door when not occupiedOther duties as assignedQualifications Previous Shuttle Driving experience is an assetA valid Class 4 driver's license is MANDATORY (A Class 4 Unrestricted license allows drivers to operate commercial vehicles including buses with a maximum seating capacity of 25 persons)The ability to drive standard transmission vehicles is mandatoryKnowledge of Whistler area and Chateau Whistler Resort is an assetAdditional Information Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
