Ready's is proudly owned and operated within WA, starting in 2005 from small beginnings to being the number 1 choice to our clients.About the Role:Ready Resources is seeking a Shutdown and Maintenance Coordinator on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be primarily responsible for coordinating and running shutdowns on our clients' mining assets, as well as overseeing our company's complete vehicle fleet. This is an excellent opportunity to further your career.Key Responsibilities:Shutdown Coordination and Execution:Plan and schedule shutdown operations, ensuring alignment with client timelines.Develop detailed shutdown scopes, resource allocation plans, and work schedules.Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution.Supervise shutdown activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and timelines.Prepare and deliver progress reports during and post-shutdown activities.Fleet Management:Oversee the company's complete vehicle fleet, ensuring all vehicles are well-maintained and operational.Schedule regular servicing, repairs, and inspections of company vehicles.Maintain records of fleet utilization and maintenance history.Optimize fleet operations for cost efficiency and productivity.Ensure all vehicles meet legal compliance and safety standards.Client and Business Development:Promote the company's shutdown, maintenance, and field services to new and existing clients.Build strong client relationships and act as the primary contact for service delivery discussions.Develop proposals and bids for new shutdown and maintenance opportunities.Identify client needs and recommend tailored solutions to enhance service delivery.Provide client feedback to internal teams to improve service quality.Safety and Compliance Oversight:Ensure all shutdown, maintenance, and fleet operations adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.Implement and enforce Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and Risk Management procedures.Team Leadership and Coordination:Allocate and oversee manpower, equipment, and resources for shutdowns and maintenance activities.Lead, coach, and mentor field service teams to achieve performance targets.Coordinate with recruitment and HR teams to ensure adequate workforce availability.Reporting and Documentation:Maintain comprehensive records of all shutdown, maintenance, and fleet-related activities.Prepare detailed reports for internal and client review.Document lessons learned from shutdowns to enhance future operations.Operational Improvements:Implement strategies to reduce costs and enhance productivity.Utilise your technical expertise to provide feedback to the recruitment and mobilisation teams on candidate resumes.Support with headhunting suitably qualified tradespeople.This role will require occasional travel to remote client sites.About You:5+ years experience as Heavy Diesel Mechanic.Great hands-on experience on a vast variety of heavy mobile equipment machinery.Trade qualification is essential.Suitable experience in large scale repair projects and planned shutdown maintenance within the mining industry.Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Willing to work on the tools.Current WA C Class Drivers Licence.Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and laboratory drug and alcohol screen.What We Offer:Permanant full-time position.Strong safety culture.Training and support for ongoing professional development with the business.Yearly bonus.Team events throughout the year.Salary negotiable based on experience.Does this sound like your next opportunity?
