You'll inspire and guide your team to hit targets, boost sales, and ensure the store runs like a well-oiled machine. With a balance of strategic thinking, hands-on leadership, and operational expertise, you'll be the driving force behind the store's success.
Be the brand ambassador, leading and motivating a high-performing team to create memorable customer experiences and organic business growth. Own the Store's Profit & Loss (P&L) performance, using your strategic skills to optimise sales, manage inventory, and keep costs in check. Drive sales through smart planning, forecasting, and detailed reporting, ensuring the store consistently meets and exceeds targets. Manage the ins and outs of the store, from stock and cash control to display management, ensuring everything runs seamlessly. Recruit, train, and develop a dynamic store team, setting clear daily goals and empowering them to achieve big results. Deliver exceptional service every day, quickly resolving any complaints and making sure every customer leaves with a smile. Implement creative and effective visual merchandising strategies that make the store look stunning and drive sales. Use the Local Area Marketing Budget to execute impactful promotions that draw in new customers and keep loyal ones coming back. Qualifications You have a proven track record of driving year-on-year sales and margin growth in a big box or appliances retail environment. Your leadership experience in retail means you know how to inspire a team and get everyone moving towards a common goal. You're great at juggling priorities, meeting tight deadlines, and keeping everything running smoothly. Your communication skills are second to none, whether you're talking to customers, training staff, or presenting reports. You have a genuine passion for customer service and know how to create outstanding experiences that keep people coming back. You're quick to pick up and understand technical product details, sharing your knowledge with your team and customers.
