About the roleWe are currently seeking applications for multiple experienced Shotfirers and MMU Operators to join our operations team in Central Queensland. These roles will be on a Drive-in Drive-Out (DIDO) basis, with a 7/7 roster and camp facilities provided for the duration of the roster.
The Shotfirers will assist and provide direction, supervision, and guidance to the Blast Crew in the process of loading, tying, and firing large shots, while the MMU Operator will operate the MMU to pump the explosive product into pre-drilled blast holes on our customer site.

What you will be doingAs a SHOTFIRER: Providing operational blasting knowledge and advice to our client blast crews and associated stakeholders;Shotfiring duties including magazine management, managing the loading, tying and firing of blasts, following drill and blast designs;Working in tight unison with your teammates to provide excellence in service to our valued customers;Assisting with the training and mentoring of new team members;Acting with integrity and respect at all times.As a MMU Operator:
Operating our MMU vehicle (Mobile Manufacturing Units) and other associated blasting plant and machinery;Assisting with preventative maintenance;Delivering explosive products down pre-drilled blast holes on bench;Working in tight unison with your teammates to provide excellence in service to our valued customers;Daily administration and customer interactions.Above all, demonstrating and setting the example of our key company value: 'Safety is our Priority, Always'; acting with integrity and respect at all times.
What you will bringAs a SHOTFIRER:
Experience operating as a full shotfirer;Knowledge of explosive and storage regulations;Knowledge of blasting and blasting procedures;QLD Shotfirers Licence;Current HR licence (highly desirable);Current QLD Explosives Security Clearance;An impeccable safety record and commitment toward safety.As a MMU OPERATOR:
