BTP is currently expanding its capabilities and capacity to better support customers and our people.Short Term Planner – RebuildsThe role of the Short-Term Planner - Rebuilds is to provide maintenance and resource planning for the rebuilds workshop.
You should deliver safe, predictable, and reliable outcomes providing plans that deliver quality and timely repairs in our mobile equipment and components workshop.Reporting to the Equipment Workshop Manager, the successful person will be a self-driven and self-motivated individual constantly aspiring to achieve the best outcome.
You will need to deliver a very dynamic plan constantly realigning tasks based on forecast plans and breaking in requirements.About the roleReview WIP forecasting work and allocation of labour to schedule resources ensuring planning to capacity.Set short term work priorities to ensure customers' requirements are met.Maintain Project Gants, update tracking for all Machine rebuilds and repairs.Ensure parts availability for planned repairs and assist with decisions around source of supply for work scopes.Liaise with workshop supervisors on backorders for planned jobs and discuss reschedules.Identify and act on opportunities to improve the planning, scheduling tools and reporting for efficiency of the equipment rebuild department.Work with the wider BTP Team to coordinate efforts to achieve planned outcomes.Identify & foresee specific Safety Hazards with planned work and ensure adherence to Safety requirements and procedures when scheduling planned work.About YouAutomotive or Engineering Trade Certification.3 years' experience in heavy mobile equipment maintenance.Work planning, forecasting, and scheduling experience in a similar role.Experience maintaining/rebuilding Caterpillar equipment.Knowledge of the Caterpillar SIS system and dealer parts and service process.Proactive, highly motivated with strong communication and team working skills and a high level of time management.Sound computer skills with MS Word / MS Excel.Highly developed organisational skills to manage fluctuating workloads and prioritise accordingly.Pronto or similar ERP experience preferred.Enjoy the Perks of BTP – Extensive employee benefits including novated leasing, health insurance discounts, paid parental leave for primary and secondary carers, study assistance, and travel/accommodation benefits to name a few.Access to our confidential Employee Assistance Program for you and your family (up to 6 free counselling sessions).Grow with us as we grow – career progression and career change opportunities through BTP or the Perenti Group.Working for a Company who are focused on developing our people to deliver our solid pipeline of work and significant growth plans.Click Apply button to start your journey and join the BTP team today.Start here, go anywhere with BTP.
