We are the state's leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions as well as being SA's largest maternity and obstetric service. 
The Friends of the Women's and Children's Hospital is an incorporated association which undertakes a range of activities to raise funds to support the WCHN, including the operation of two shops within the Women's and Children's Hospital (WCH).
The Friends of the WCHN has been fundraising for the hospital since 1927. During this time, over 17 million dollars has been donated to support research projects, staff development, and the purchase of important medical equipment. The Friends continue to provide a valuable link between the Women's and Children's Health Network and the South Australian community.

The Opportunity  An exciting opportunity exists within the Consumer and Community Engagement Division for a Shops Coordinator, WHA6 to join the team on a 2-year contract, working at a full-time capacity. 
The Shops Coordinator will play a key coordination role for the planning and delivery of a range of operational, administrative and marketing functions that support the ongoing operation and continual improvement of the Rainbows and Vic's volunteer shops run by the Friends.
Role Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with the Shop Supervisor and shop volunteer team leaders to ensure the efficient and safe operations of the Friends shops.Provide operational support within the shops to ensure all daily tasks are completed in a timely and safe manner.Preparing sandwiches, salads and other food production items according to standard operating procedures, recipes and the food safety plan.Operating and maintaining the coffee machine, dishwasher and food slicer equipment in accordance with standards to ensure effective operation and a safe working environment.Monitor and manage inventory levels, including restocking shelves, tracking product expiration dates, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure a well-stocked and diverse selection of items.To find out the specifics, including the key selection criteria and special conditions, please go to the attached role description.
