• Developing eCommerce sites on Shopify platform. • Responsible for the development of the Shopify platform, themes, liquid programming language and corresponding apps. • Integrating third-party and platform supported apps in the sites. • Setting up payment integration, shipping methods and taxes in Shopify platform • Working closely with project managers to address client requests. • Other tasks assigned Requirements • Complete know-how of Shopify's Admin System is mandatory. • Expertise in diverse programming languages and Full-Stack Web Applications will come in handy. • Strong programming knowledge of "Liquid" for Shopify Stores and Shopify Themes is a must-have. You also need to know HTML5 and CSS3. • To build Shopify Apps, knowledge of the PHP scripting language will also do the work. Basically, anything that uses JSON REST API with Auth will work. • Knowledge of Google Analytics for Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) is also desirable. Furthermore, expertise in Google Content Experiments is required for Testing purposes. • Knowledge of other popular ECommerce Platforms like Magento, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce is a big plus. • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders from multiple teams. A Shopify Developer should be self-motivated, confident, and ready to work in all team environments. • They should have the right Interpersonal Skills to interact with stakeholders from multiple teams. • At least 3 years' experience developing websites using PHP, MySQL, HTML/CSS/JS. • Advanced in developing Laravel, Symfony, Phalcon, or any framework • Deep knowledge about OOP, MVC patterns. • Experience in developing Javascript frameworks like ReactJS, VueJS. • Experience in authentication protocols (OAuth2, OpenID, and JsonWebToken). • Eager to learn new technologies. Nice to have: • Have knowledge about Semantic Web, Responsive Web. • Experience with relational databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL or Oracle) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Elastic Search, Redis or Cassandra) • Experience in unit testing with tools such as PHPUnit, Jest, and various other utilities and assertion libraries (Chai, Sinon, etc.) • Able to write well-structured and maintainable code. • Familiar with agile practices such as Scrum or Kanban. • Can-do-attitude and put the goals of the team before your own prestige.
