This position demands a highly creative and detail-oriented designer who can lead the design process from concept to final product.
You will ensure that each collection embodies the brand's aesthetic, resonates with our customers, and aligns with current market trends.
Collaboration with various departments is key, focusing on creating stylish, high-quality footwear that is both trend-driven and commercially successful.Please include a link to your Design portfolio when applying.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Design and develop footwear collections from initial concept through to final product.Conduct comprehensive research on market trends, customer preferences, and emerging trends within the footwear industry to guide design inspiration.Create mood boards, colour palettes, sketches, and technical drawings to build cohesive and innovative shoe collections.Collaborate closely with the production and technical teams to ensure designs meet comfort, durability, and aesthetic standards.Work alongside merchandising, production, and marketing teams to ensure designs align with business goals and market needs.Provide detailed technical specifications and work with production teams to ensure designs are accurately translated into final products.Source and select materials such as leather, fabrics, and hardware, balancing quality, cost, and sustainability.Oversee the prototyping and sampling process to ensure the final product reflects the design vision and meets brand standards.Ensure all designs adhere to production timelines and budgets while maintaining the highest quality standards.Incorporate sustainable practices where possible, including the use of eco-friendly materials and ethical manufacturing processes.WHAT YOU'LL NEED5-7 years of experience in footwear design, with a portfolio showcasing your expertise.A Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Footwear Design, or a related field.Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and CAD tools.Strong understanding of materials, construction techniques, and manufacturing processes specific to footwear.A keen eye for detail and the ability to create designs that combine style, comfort, and functionality.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey design concepts and work effectively within cross-functional teams.A deep passion for footwear design and a strong understanding of the brand's identity and values.Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.A positive, collaborative attitude and a commitment to continuous innovation and excellence in design.BENEFITSEmployee Perks: Monthly clothing allowance, generous employee discounts, and flexible working arrangements to support a healthy work-life balance.
