Main Function of PositionAs part of our boat-building team, this role is responsible for fibreglass repairs, builds and rebuilds. Working closely with all areas of the business you will construct, fit-out, commission and repair all types of vessels, including recreational, competitive, and commercial. The selected candidate will work on a range of exciting and innovative projects both on and off-site.
Key Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesComplete a range of GRP repairs, builds and repairsStructural laminatingChop strand gun operationComposite fabrication, including infusion, injection moulding, moulding/tooling, and prepreg composite processesLiaising with clients, suppliers, and other contractorsQualifications and ExperienceEssential Minimum three (3) years experience within an applicable industryShipwright or fibreglass laminator qualificationExtensive knowledge of GRP builds and repairsStructural laminating experienceValid WA Drivers LicenceDesired Chopper gun and gel coat experienceForklift ticketSummary of Role RequirementsLooking for candidates available to work:Monday: Morning, AfternoonTuesday: Morning, AfternoonWednesday: Morning, AfternoonThursday: Morning, AfternoonFriday: Morning, Afternoon2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this roleWorking rights required for this roleExpected start date for role: 01 December 2024Expected salary: $36 - $40 per hour#J-18808-Ljbffr
