We are proud of our safety record and value our customers.Phoenix Petroleum Ltd. is recruiting for a Shipper/Receiver to help improve our logistical network between our suppliers and job sites.The ideal candidate would be a person who shares and practices the Phoenix Values:Passionate - to go above and beyondHealth and Safety - more than a priority, a way of lifeOwners of our actions – we expect to be held accountableEthical - we live with integrity doing the right thing, whether seen or unseenNimble - we quickly adapt to the needs of our customerInclusive - we value and respect the contributions of allX factor – we find innovative solutionsAbout Our Opportunity:As the Shipper/Receiver, you will be responsible to organize and manage shipments, receive and record the movement of parts, supplies, materials, equipment and stock to and from our Dartmouth location.Main responsibilities:Commitment to working SAFELYManage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.Collaborate and communicate with customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.Track, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area.Promptly unload trucks and deliveries and sort and stock receivables.Maintain an accurate log sheet of all daily activities.Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.Provide additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments.Understand the importance of process and procedure.Required Skills:Using your planning and organizational skills, you will ensure the shipping and receiving processes are performed efficiently and target timelines are achieved. Supply Chain knowledge and experience, as well as strong communication and teamwork skills are imperative to delivering successful projects.Sorting incoming and outgoing stockReceiving, stocking, and stackingPulling, packing, and loadingGood written and verbal communication skillsStrong sense of time organization and urgencyAble to work independently and within a teamQualifications and Experience:A High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required with at least six (6) months logistics, retail, or customer service experience.
