As part of our growth strategy, we have 2 brand new Shift Team Leader roles available to join our collaborative and supportive team.
You will be hands-on and responsible for managing the shift-to-shift operations of the factory and performance of the shift production team, where you will ensure the safe and efficient operation of extrusion lines and production areas to achieve quality outputs, and products that meet all standards and customer expectations.
What will you do? Make this role your own as you work on a rotating shift roster leading and developing the health and safety culture for the team including fine tuning processes and tasks as the site continues to growProvide leadership and supervision for the team on shiftEngage and motivate the team and work with them to solve issues and troubleshootProvide support to operators and play a key role in their learning, development, competency and experience in daily operations, continuous improvement, safety and quality practices and effective teamworkAbout You Demonstrated leadership experience and proven shift management of small/medium sized teams in FMCG/continuous batch manufacturing/heavy industrial operationsMechanical aptitude and enthusiastic about automationAbility to set and align balanced operational priorities with the emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency, throughput, proactive reporting, and a continuous improvement mindsetEffective communication across workplace and workforce diversityExcellent time management, sense of urgency, results focused to meet daily production KPI's and targetsDemonstrated collaborative style and cross-functional engagementYou have a can-do attitude, are flexible, adaptable and want to jump onboard to help us continue to grow our manufacturing capabilityThis role will lead production activities across a mix of manually operated, integrated, automated and robotic processesLicensed: High Risk Work licence (Forklift) and own transport and driver's licenceWhy join us?
