Shift Supervisor / Mechanic

We are seeking to add experience and expertise to our current team with a Shift Supervisor able to work on the floor and guide / direct work across the floor.This role will entail:Early start from 5:30amMonday to Friday day shift - inc. opening the workshop each dayDistribute tasks for the shift commencementWork with the Workshop Manager in work prioritisationGuide and mentor Trade Assistants / apprentices in tasks as needed.Cross check work standards and completeness before release of vehicle.Rotational support for weekend overtime (where needed)Fleet Maintenance on a variety of Makes, Models of Heavy Vehicles (including Mack, Kenworth, Isuzu, DAF, Hino)You must be able to demonstrate safe work practices and be confident to work in a team and independently (depending on the task).Qualifications required for this role:Trade Qualified in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanic / Diesel FitterHR or HC truck license preferredForklift HRW licence preferredTo apply, click on the link below.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How much notice are you required to give your current employer?How many years' experience do you have as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic?Which of the following forklift licences do you have?Have you completed a qualification in automotive mechanical technology?
