The role An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and hard-working employee to join our inclusive Adbri Cement Production team in Port Kembla.
As a member of the Production team you will work day shift, with relief shift work as required.
We offer a very attractive hourly wage in accordance with the Port Kembla collective agreement and the opportunity to develop your career with an established, Australian company.
We will invest in your training and development, providing the opportunity to obtain additional licences if you demonstrate the desire and aspiration to grow with us.
Responsibilities Perform manual physical work on the plant including labouring and cleaning HSE identification and reporting Basic care checklists and equipment condition monitoring Operate Citect/Scad system Operate machinery Provide relief to shift operations when required Undertake training to obtain additional licences necessary for the role What you will need to succeed A Trade qualification electrical and/or mechanical Be willing to learn new skills and engage positively with training Exhibit a strong commitment to environment, quality, health, safety, and wellbeing Possess a desire for further career development with a proactive and positive attitude Excellent verbal and written communication skills Hold, or be willing to undertake training to obtain required licenses such as HR, forklift, Gantry Crane, Front-end-loader, and/or skid steer licenses Be physically fit and comfortable when working in confined spaces Have basic computing skills Show initiative and succeed when troubleshooting and problem solving Demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team About us As one of Australia's largest construction materials companies, we supply the cement, lime, concrete, aggregates, masonry products and industrial minerals that build a strong Australia.
