Key ResponsibilitiesLead weekend coordination of warehouse and transport shift operations, ensuring smooth workflow.Ensure compliance with company policies and legislative procedures for staff and operations.Oversee the accurate picking, checking, loading and delivery of customer orders.Manage budgeting targets, ensuring costs for wages, freight, and other expenses stay within guidelines.Mentor and guide staff in their career development, focusing on performance and growth.Maintain high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness within the warehouse.Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and according to driver/run requirements.Communicate regularly with Supervisors, Branch Managers, and Sales teams to align on goals and feedback.Lead incident and accident reporting & investigations.Key Competencies, Skills and QualificationsKnowledge of the Food Service Distributions industryThe ability to communicate effectively with all key stakeholders both written and verbal at all levelsAbility to work under pressure with good time management skillsSound knowledge of WMS and routing systemsPrior proven experience in people managementA solid knowledge of HACCP and OH & S regulationsFlexible and reliableBe a problem solver externally and internallyWhat PFD is Offering the Successful CandidateWe are offering competitive remuneration, superannuation and other staff benefits (such as discounts on staff purchases, discounted accommodation, health insurance and banking).
