We deliver fully integrated real estate, facilities and technology solutions that realise potential for data centre owners, occupiers and investors across the globe.Key role is to support GWS Data Centre business growthBe part of a global business with exciting growth targets for 2025Join a supportive team and develop your career within the Facilities Management spaceWorking arrangement: 12 hours rotation shift (4 on, 4 off - 2 days/2 nights - 6 am-6pm/6pm-6 am)About the Role:As a CBRE Data Center Shift Lead, you will provide oversight over the team that performs advanced preventative maintenance and complex corrective repairs within a Data Center operation. This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.What You'll Do:Manage, plan, coordinate, schedule, and oversee the workload, deadlines, and day-to-day activities of the support team members to ensure effective delivery of services.Ensure daily site inspections of all Mechanical & Engineering systems and technical equipment are conducted.Verify the site's environmental conditions provide a safe work environment.Assist staff with difficult planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on all equipment as needed.Review meter readings from UPS, PDU and utilities to ensure accurate information.Confirm safety processes and requirements on all regulatory requirements and quality standards are met.Review quality checks and retain comprehensive maintenance records.Develop and implement advanced work processes, Job Hazard Analysis reports, and SOPs for critical work with risk assessment.Complete all required training to ensure successful completion of all job-related responsibilities.Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.Showcase expertise in own job discipline and in-depth knowledge of other job disciplines within the organization function.Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams.Work is guided by functional policies which impact the design of procedures and policies.Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and/or operational plans in support of achieving functional goals.Communicate difficult and complex ideas with the ability to influence.What You'll Need:High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 5-8 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. HVAC license, required, and state and local licensures, where required.
