13th November, 2024 PIMS Mining has been contracted by Malabar Resources to provide services at the Maxwell Underground Bord and Pillar Operation located east of Denman and south of Muswellbrook in the Upper Hunter Region, New South Wales.
PIMS are now seeking an experienced Shift Engineers with a can-do attitude along with having the ability to drive our safety culture, provide continuous improvement and enhance our productivity programs.

About the Role   Reporting to the respective trade coordinator the successful candidate will carry out a wide range of tasks across project activities from supervising daily activities of work crews, ensuring compliance with internal, client and legislative SHMS requirements through to ensuring that the quality production and environmental requirements of the project are met.
The minimum skills and expectations for this role are but not limited to: Have a proven experience in supervising teams of tradespersons;  Ability to comply with the Safety Health Management System, Coal Mining Legislation, Engineering Standards at Maxwell Bord and Pillar Underground Operation;   Contribute to maintenance strategies to minimise engineering costs, maximise equipment availability and meet budget requirements;  Posses a strong work ethic with a great attendance record; Comply with site procedures, instructions, and equipment specifications and limitations to ensure effective and safe use of equipment; S1, S2, S3 and G2 Qualification must also be current.
