As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Shift Engineer to join our dynamic team to support the efficient operation of the site.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee engineering activities across your shift to ensure smooth operation of underground mining equipment and systems.Monitor and manage equipment performance, ensuring breakdowns and downtime are minimized.Coordinate with the Maintenance, Operations, and Safety teams to ensure all engineering tasks comply with company policies and relevant legislation.Ensure adherence to safety standards and participate in risk assessments and safety initiatives.Provide technical support and problem-solving expertise to the site teams.Prepare and maintain shift reports, performance data, and ensure completion of all necessary documentation.Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.Skills & Experience: Degree or Trade Qualification in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Mining).Previous experience in a similar role in the mining industry, preferably underground coal.Strong understanding of mining operations, equipment, and safety regulations.Ability to lead, manage, and motivate shift teams.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Current Queensland Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 would be advantageous.What We Offer: Competitive salary package with bonuses and site allowances.Opportunity to work with a dedicated and highly skilled team in a leading mining operation.Strong commitment to safety, training, and career development. #J-18808-Ljbffr
