Shift Electrician

About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to undertake the Morning and Afternoon Electrician shift coverage to service all electrical equipment for the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, Royal Children's Hospital Health Service Districts.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Liaise with other Health Department employees, government agencies, or organisations to ensure work is undertaken with minimal disruption to clients and other staff, respecting the special needs of patients and trade staff. Ensure that safe work practices are adopted at all times and that protective clothing and equipment provided is worn and used as recommended, including the implementation and enforcement of legislative requirements such as the Workplace Health and Safety Act and the Health Services Act. Comply with and utilise procedures, policies, regulations and standards which impact upon the position, including contemporary human resource management requirements and practices. Health Equity
