Our client, Hitech Sheetmetal Pty Ltd, specialise in the manufacture of HVAC air conditioning and ventilation ductwork.
All their duct is manufactured to Australian Standards, and they can service any size of job from a small residential project to large commercial tenders.
They also have years of experience with fire rated duct, particularly the Fyrewrap method of duct protection.
They pride themselves on first class customer service and attention to detail delivering to customer requirements on time, every time.
They are in search of Sheetmetal Trades Workers, Duties and Responsibilities: 1)Manufacture, repair and install assemblies, such as heating and air conditioning ducts, stainless steel range hood, flashing, pipes, in supportive frameworks.
2) Select gauges and types of sheet metal or non-metallic material, according to specifications.
3) Cut, bend, drill and punch holes in metal, for screws, bolts, and rivets.
4) Fasten seams and joints together with Pittsburgh locformer machine, seam locking machine, welds, bolts, rivets to assemble components into products or to repair sheet metal items.
5) Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites, using shears, hammers, punches, and drills.
6) Trim, file, grind, deburr, buff, and smooth surfaces, seams, and joints of assembled parts, using hand tools and portable power tools.
7) Finish parts using hand tools 8) Shape metal material over anvils, blocks, or other forms, using hand tools.
9) Duties as directed.
Skills and Experience Required: 1)     Must hold relevant trades qualification or at least three-year relevant experience 2)     Ability to work as part of a busy team 3)     Maintain high standard and specification
