We specialize in delivering high-quality sheet metal work and custom fabrications, and we are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Sheet Metal Design and Production Planner.
Job Description:In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings for our workshop, focusing on sheet metal work fabrications and scaffolding.
You will also plan the production schedule for our advanced laser cutter, ensuring efficient and precise operations.
Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed drawings for sheet metal fabrications and scaffolding using software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, and Metalix.Plan and schedule production for our laser cutter, optimizing workflow and machine usage.Collaborate with the workshop team to ensure drawings are practical and align with production capabilities.Understand and work with various metals, including stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum.Ensure designs meet quality and safety standards while adhering to project timelines.Requirements: Experience in programming and drawing for sheet metal fabrication.Strong understanding of sheet metal work, with hands-on experience in a workshop environment (preferred).Proficiency in Metalix Software, Inventor, and AutoCAD is highly advantageous.Previous shop floor experience is preferred, with an emphasis on individuals who have grown from hands-on roles.Why Join Us?
