Key Responsibilities
Supervise the afternoon warehouse team to achieve productivity and safety goals.
Oversee receiving, inventory management, picking, and packing processes.
Coordinate dispatch to meet delivery deadlines and maintain DIFOT standards.
Manage workforce scheduling, resource allocation, and cross-training to optimize efficiency.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations.
Maximize space utilization and maintain inventory accuracy.
Collaborate with the transport team for seamless logistics operations.
Lead by example, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
Monitor and report on key operational metrics (KPIs) to senior management.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor in a fast-paced food, FMCG, or logistics environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and dispatch processes.
Familiarity with safety regulations, especially food safety and OH&S. Excellent communication and collaboration skills across functional teams.
Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and MS Office Suite.
Availability to work afternoon/evening shifts.
