The Role
Excited to partner with a leading FMCG company who are seeking a Sustainability Specialist to join their growing business. In this new role, you will be a subject matter expert on all things sustainability and support the development and implementation of our client's sustainability strategy. You will play a key role in developing a corporate emissions reduction strategy that aligns with the stakeholders' engagements and work closely with cross-functional departments.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive framework based on Scope 1, 2 and 3 Emissions Framework Development. You will also be responsible for:
Gather emissions-related data in accordance with requirements, and where possible setup processes to automate and simplify. Build strong relationships across the business and with key supply chain vendors to facilitate data collection and sustainability initiatives. Educate suppliers and the business on emissions reporting requirements and sustainability goals. Maintain compliance with local, national, and international environmental regulations related to emissions. Contribute to writing of sustainability reports, corporate responsibility statements, and external audits. Identify and recommend strategies to reduce emissions across the supply chain. Key Requirements

Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Sustainable, Engineering, Business Administration or related field. 5+ years of industry experience, preferably in the dairy industry and GHG data collection & inventories, and emissions reporting standards & protocols. Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills. The capacity to develop a deep understanding of data and complex Excel models, with the ability to also speak to the big picture. Ability to work with integrity, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet specific timelines and deliverables. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to engage with diverse stakeholders. Why Join?
