Payroll Compliance & Reporting Specialist Based in Melbourne's City Fringe (Docklands)

They are on the lookout for a highly skilled payroll professional to assist with a variety of projects to ensure the accurate and timely maintenance of related payroll records whilst adhering to the relevant statutory legislation and company policies and procedures. Position Description
Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for:
Work with a governance and compliance mindset, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations Identify and address arising compliance and governance issues, and ensure resolution, risk reduction or capability build Embed processes to ensure all required regulatory requirements are processed efficiently, accurately and remitted on time – such as Payroll Tax, PAYG, Superannuation, etc Perform historical audits and remediate any identified issues Ideal Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar position along with the following skills and attributes:
Strong payroll technical knowledge within the healthcare industry is essential Experience with Affinity and Kronos would be advantageous (though not essential) Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Experienced in reviewing/updating procedural documentation Confident when dealing with stakeholders both internal and external Conduct Payroll reporting and make recommendations for improvement Identify insights and trends through analysis Design and develop data validation checks, analytical metrics and dashboards Perform scenario modelling as requested Escalate issues to the appropriate team for investigation and resolution What's on Offer Attractive remuneration on offer dependent on experience (circa $130,000 - $145,000 package) Office location in Melbourne City Fringe - Docklands Discounts on various retail establishments Work from home 2 days per week To apply online, please click on the appropriate link below.
