About the role An exciting newly created role with a nationally recognisable Tech / Media organisation currently exists in order to fill a key role in their finance team. As part of the Senior Leadership Team, this Financial Controller role will help assist in the management and communication of the companies' financial, corporate accounting and tax obligations.
The responsibilities Reporting directly into the CFO, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Management of the full accounting and month-end processesManage a small, high-performing team of staffBusiness partner with key divisional teams on financial resultsPrepare and submit the BAS, IAS and FBT for the GroupFull annual statutory audit ownershipTreasury oversightPrepare technical accounting / financial statement board reportsDrive continuous improvement in systems, reporting, process and efficiencyThe successful applicant will have Ideally, you will be a CA / CPA qualified accounting professional and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will have a strong attention to detail with experience leading and coaching a team. Experience gained within a Big 4 Audit environment will be considered as highly advantageous.
