The role CBCity has a new opportunity for a SharePoint Administrator to join the team in our ICT unit.
You will manage, configure, and maintain the organisation's SharePoint environment to ensure it supports collaboration, content management (EDRMS), and information sharing across the organisation.
As the SharePoint Administrator, you will ensure the stability, security, and optimal performance of SharePoint sites, providing user support, managing permissions, and implementing best practices for data governance.
You will collaborate with teams across Council to design solutions that meet organisational needs and enhance productivity through effective use of SharePoint features and integrations.
Duties will include but not be limited to: Oversee the configuration, performance, and security of the SharePoint environment to ensure a stable and secure platform.
Perform routine system monitoring, maintenance, and updates to minimise downtime and security risks.
Create, configure, and organise sites, libraries, lists, and workflows to support business processes and collaboration.
Provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers, with a particular focus on continuous improvement and enhancing the customer experience.
Provide technical support, training, and resources to empower users and promote best practices in SharePoint usage.
Implement and enforce governance and data retention policies to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
Utilise PowerShell and Power Automate to automate repetitive tasks, streamline workflows, and enhance system efficiency.

You will have: Relevant tertiary qualifications in ICT and/or proven experience working as a SharePoint administrator within a large organisation.
Proven experience with Office 365, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
Understanding of SharePoint governance and data retention policies.
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
Extensive analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous customer requests within tight timelines.
Sound collaboration and negotiation skills with the capability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders through outstanding customer service.
Current C class drivers' licence.
The salary range for this opportunity starts at $111,988 (Grade I, Step 1) + 11.5% super.
Salary may be negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
