Payroll Officer Government sector – based in Burwood4 month - Contract positionClient Description:This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable government department currently seeking a skilled and experienced Payroll Officer for an exclusive opportunity.Key Responsibilities:Payroll administration work, corresponding and liaising with customer and business area managers, customer service, maintaining records for employee salaries and statutory record-keeping purposes. As required, participate and process payroll transactional work and support Payroll administrators, Payroll Managers, and Team leaders.Payroll knowledge and a focus on customer service.This role is fast-paced and involves supporting payroll-related work and transactional work in a large organisation.This role, along with other colleagues, will provide support to their Manager and Payroll administrators in processing administrative and payroll offboarding processes, payroll transactions, and other payroll-related work as required, including superannuation, salary packaging, and document management.Skills/Experience:Payroll experience preferred; it would be advantageous to have knowledge of payroll separation (offboarding).Experience dealing with multiple stakeholders within the agencies and updating and keeping track of the required information for individual staff processing with updates on the tracker/tickets.If you are a dedicated and reliable Payroll Officer, we encourage you to apply.
