We are currently seeking a Shared Services Manager to join our corporate Accounts team.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this position leads and manages the Shared Services team, ensuring robust business systems and internal controls are in place to ensure transactions are captured in line with monthly processes and J-SOX.
This includes delivering professional financial support, analysis, and advice to business managers and other employees across Scott Park Group in accordance with Finance policies and accounting standards.
Key responsibilities include: Liaise with the Group Financial Controller and Financial Analyst to ensure accurate revenue and cost reporting.Direct the preparation of internal financial reports for Board reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of information.Contribute to the development, maintenance, and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and processes across the business.Provide financial support, analysis, and advice to business managers and other employees.Oversee the company's vehicle fleet, ensuring efficient utilization and adherence to internal controls.Review monthly aged reports and general ledger reconciliations for accuracy and timeliness.Manage the end-to-end accounts payable and receivable process, ensuring compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and the monthly accrual process.Manage day-to-day cash flow, including forecasting, transactional processing, and bank reconciliations.Facilitate continuous review of business processes to identify improvements and ensure alignment with best practices.Ensure efficient utilization of financial systems to deliver management results and metrics.Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging and promoting new ideas, process improvements, and technology advancements that enhance efficiency and cost savings.Foster a collaborative and customer-focused team culture by providing appropriate training, guidance, and support.Promote teamwork, encourage knowledge sharing, and empower team members to deliver excellent customer service.To be considered for this position you will need: University degree qualification in Accounting, Commerce or Finance (or equivalent).CPA or CA qualification (desirable).Considerable financial management experience in a commercial environment.Demonstrable skills in leading and mentoring a large high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) including the ability to influence, build, and maintain networks with a range of stakeholders.Experience in cash flow management, financial analysis, financial reporting systems as well as demonstrated attention to detail.Excellent computer skills, including the ability to utilize a range of information systems (MS Excel, Databuild desirable, Dynamics 365).If you fit the above criteria and are looking for a great career opportunity, then apply by sending your CV and covering letter through.
