About the role The Shannons Major Loss and Transport Manager will manage a team of Major Loss and Towing Claim Specialists. The role will be accountable for the team's performance and development to ensure the team is consistently achieving the business's financial, claims duration, and quality objectives. The role will focus on delivering exemplary customer service, tailored to our Shannons customers to deliver on our MCC strategy and get them Back on The Road.
What you'll do Lead, coach, and manage an engaged team to deliver desired performance outcomes against agreed business objectives. Achieve people, customer, and financial targets across the team and effectively manage underperformance as it arises. Monitor and manage operational excellence, communicating performance updates to both team members and the leadership group. Allocate and manage workflows within the team, ensuring that staff are rostered appropriately to meet the inbound/outbound needs of the business. Actively drive positive customer outcomes by devising and implementing strategies within the team that directly impact key customer metrics. Improve the capability of the team through regular training, monitoring, development, feedback, and coaching. What you'll bring 3+ years' experience in motor claims fulfilment and/or towing. 3+ years' team leader experience. Knowledge of the motor insurance industry.
