What you will be doing Reporting to the Business Readiness Lead, the Shaft and Winder Electrical Advisor will apply knowledge, skills and experience to effectively plan, organize and coordinate business readiness activities.
You will be involved in all phases of business readiness activities including but not limited to optimizing design, installation assistance, commissioning, identification and cataloguing of spares, and deployment of maintenance and operational systems support in term of Mine Maintenance (MIN-MAN) for the Tanami Expansion 2 (TE2) project.
The TE2 project has commenced with Stage 4 of the project to deliver a vertical production shaft and the associated surface and underground materials handling and services facilities.
This role will be responsible to provide expert advice relating to maintenance and operational systems, processes and procedures.
You will be required to enhance new systems, procedures, equipment and tooling requirements in order to be fully functional for operations through the various business readiness phases.
Who you are The role will require the following key skills, knowledge and experience: Extensive experience in the mining industry (within or outside Australia) Experience with: Shaft and Hoisting systems (Winders) Primary crushing circuits Conveyor circuits Associated infrastructure An electrical trade or tertiary qualification A self-starter with the ability to identify maintenance requirements associated with a vertical shaft hoisting system and crushing circuit along with the associated surface and underground infrastructure Experience in the preparation of FMEA reviews for new and existing equipment Experience in materials assessment and cataloguing process Experience in project delivery and execution Understanding of operational requirements Strong written and verbal communication skills PC skills and computer literacy with familiarisation of various software packages associated with the project controls discipline including MS Office suite, MS Project, document control systems, and Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Our business success comes from the accomplishments and well-being of our employees and contractors.
