About the Role:
As a Senior Submissions Coordinator, you will report to our Lead Submissions Manager and work from either our Sydney (McMahons Point) or Brisbane (Eight Mile Plains) offices.
You will be a crucial part of a talented team of nine submissions professionals, driving success by working on diverse bids across various sectors for a wide range of clients throughout Australia.
Your primary responsibilities will include preparing, collating, and lodging compelling, work-winning submissions and prestigious award entries. This role is both exciting and challenging, perfect for someone looking to make a significant impact.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development of proposals, ensuring they are well-organised, concise, and effectively communicate key messages. Work closely with subject matter experts to gather information and build compelling documents. Craft outlines, storyboards, and drafts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure content accuracy and consistency with our brand guidelines. Manage schedules and deadlines, coordinate reviews and approvals, and create visually appealing graphics. Conduct research and analysis to stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs, continuously improving our processes and best practices. Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have over 5 years of experience in preparing, coordinating, and writing submissions and complex documents within the construction industry or a similar field.
Your experience developing and applying proven strategies for successful submissions will be highly regarded, as will your ability to assimilate lessons learned to ensure continual improvement and growth for all of us.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with Adobe InDesign for document graphics and cover designs are essential.
While knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is desirable, it is not essential. You should also have extensive experience working in multidisciplinary organisations, excellent writing, editing, grammar, and communication skills, and a high attention to detail while maintaining speed and accuracy.
