Opportunity for Sexual Health Clinical Nurse in the Kimberley!How you can make a differenceAs an experienced clinical nurse, you will be knowledgeable around sexual health, and passionate about educating others. You will be servicing Aboriginal communities in and around Broome, therefore you must have the experience working in remote areas. As you will be working closely with Aboriginal families, it would be beneficial to have cultural sensitivity whilst working with these groups. The role is Monday to Friday, working normal clinic hours.Duties will include but not limited to:Sexual health screenings, assessments and treatmentsHealth promotion - educating clients and families about STI management, blood borne viruses, and contact tracingCollaborate with other team leaders and primary health care professionals to facilitate outreach servicesCase managementAbout youUnrestricted AHPRA registrationPreviously worked as a Clinical Nurse, in sexual healthPostgraduate certificate is beneficialFull Australian working rightsWA WWCC or willing to obtainAbout the contractAs this is a short-term contract, we require a candidate with full Australian working rights. The contract is 12-13 weeks, starting mid-September. If you are interested in a longer contract, please feel free to discuss with us and we can look at either 6-12 months. Accommodation is provided free of charge in shared housing close to the facility.
