Opportunity for Sexual Health Clinical Nurse in the Kimberley!
How you can make a difference As an experienced clinical nurse, you will be knowledgeable around sexual health, and passionate about educating others. You will be servicing Aboriginal communities in and around Broome, therefore you must have the experience working in remote areas. As you will be working closely with Aboriginal families, it would be beneficial to have cultural sensitivity whilst working with these groups. The role is Monday to Friday, working normal clinic hours.
Duties will include but not limited to: Sexual health screenings, assessments and treatments Health promotion - educating clients and families about STI management, blood borne viruses, and contact tracing Collaborate with other team leaders and primary health care professionals to facilitate outreach services Case management About you Unrestricted AHPRA registration Previously worked as a Clinical Nurse, in sexual health Postgraduate certificate is beneficial Full Australian working rights WA WWCC or willing to obtain About the contract As this is a short-term contract, we require a candidate with full Australian working rights. The contract is 12-13 weeks, starting mid-September. If you are interested in a longer contract, please feel free to discuss with us and we can look at either 6-12 months. Accommodation is provided free of charge in shared housing close to the facility. Travel is fully covered to and from the contract.
We are offering a generous rate of $75/hr + 11.5% super and penalties.
