$60.38 per hour + salary packaging Location: Stawell and Horsham, Vic, AU An exciting opportunity is available for a passionate Sexual and Reproductive Health Nurse to join Grampians Health for a part time opportunity until June 2026.
About the Role We are seeking a Sexual and Reproductive Health Nurse to provide essential services aligned with the Victorian Women's Sexual and Reproductive Health Plan 2022-2030.
This position is for 0.63 FTE (24 hours per week), with flexible work options and job share arrangements will be considered.
In this role, you will deliver evidence-based care and nursing leadership to women, girls, and gender-diverse people, focusing on contraception, pregnancy termination options, STI testing and treatment, and long-acting reversible contraception services.
Key Responsibilities Provide expert consultation and senior nursing leadership to establish and develop the new service.
Deliver high-quality clinical services, including termination counselling, contraceptive support, STI testing, and hepatitis B/C care.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop policies, procedures, and guidelines to support patient referrals and linkages to other services.
Model trauma-informed care and provide a holistic approach to women's healthcare, promoting inclusive, equitable care.
Contribute to service improvement through data-driven decision-making, research activities, and professional development.
Mentor and support colleagues through preceptorship, coaching, and ongoing education.
Skills & Experience Current RN registration with at least three years' experience and accredited as a Nurse Cervical Screening Provider.
Advanced knowledge and skills in assessing and managing gynaecological, reproductive, and sexual health issues.
Demonstrated clinical leadership and the ability to make informed, evidence-based decisions in sexual and reproductive healthcare.
Strong experience in coordinating care and collaborating with healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
Excellent time management, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and solve problems effectively.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to work independently and within a team.
