Here at Concentis, we are partnering with a client in the Hydrogen and infrastructure Space to source an Environmental Coordinator, responsible for the implementation and organisation of environmental management standards.
In this role, reporting to the Health, Safety and Environmental Manager, you will work within the Environmental Operations team to maintain and develop monitoring schedules for reporting requirements, proactively work in the field with various stakeholder groups, and coordinate the collection and input process from start to finish.
This is a site-based position in the Gladstone region, FIFO/DIDO through to November 2025.
Key Responsibilities: Conducting daily inspections and audit activities Support senior management by providing accurate data for critical operational decisions Management of the day-to-day interface with contracting partners, focusing on safety and the environment Management of the environmental authority provisions to ensure governance and adherence Work as part of the project operations team to provide support and advice Work to continuously improve and update policies, procedures and overall project activities About You: Tertiary Level Environmental qualifications or equivalent Previous experience as an environmental professional working client-side or contractor side Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment and take accountability for your work Proven understanding and implementation of ISO governance Excellent verbal and written communication including document management and ability to use systems and software Passionate about continuous improvement and finding solutions for contractors and stakeholders Benefits: Work in a safety-focused and inclusive environment Once in a lifetime hydrogen and infrastructure project right in CQ's backyard.
