This is a 12-month contract role , based in Sydney, reporting to the NSW Sales Director. Your day to day will include:
Leading and inspiring your team while collaborating closely with other departments within Seven. Building strong, proactive relationships with media agencies and their teams to drive success. Driving a collaborative culture of high performance and maximising client satisfaction across the sales team. Demonstrating a proactive, flexible, motivated, collaborative approach both internally and externally. Ensuring your team clearly understands the strategy and plan of the department to empower them to make quick and appropriate decisions. About You:
As Group Business Director, you'll lead the commercial strategy, execution, and results for a diverse portfolio of clients and agencies across Digital, Metro, and Regional screens. In this pivotal role, you'll directly oversee broadcast Group Sales Managers, while also collaborating with Digital Sales Managers and Connections Planners to maximize the potential of each agency portfolio. Working closely with Seven's broader Sales teams, you'll drive a high-performing, results-focused team, ensuring outstanding delivery on State and Network targets across all of Seven's screens. This is your chance to lead with impact and elevate Seven's reach and revenue.
Develop and execute insight-driven business plans across your agency portfolio to maximize revenue across Metro, Regional, and Digital platforms. Build strong client and agency relationships, creating quarterly engagement plans for top clients. Advocate for total television and convergence to expand audience reach and revenue. Monitor market trends and audience reports to meet revenue and share targets, focusing on premium opportunities across SWM screens and wider media budgets. Lead major negotiations and maintain oversight of quarterly campaigns. Collaborate with the NSW Sales Director to foster a high-performance, inclusive team aligned with SWM values. Align agency partnerships with SWM's Better Together Service charter, ensuring proactive issue resolution. Utilise feedback surveys and monitor productivity across agencies. Develop team skills in premium opportunities and convergence. Ensure regulatory compliance, provide timely management reports, and leverage CRM insights for revenue growth across all platforms.
