Our proprietary loan origination system supports our dealers and distributors to facilitate seamless, convenient and customer-focused finance solutions for consumers and businesses.
Purpose and Responsibilities

The purpose and responsibilities of the Settlements Team Leader is to manage the daily operations of the Settlements team to deliver on key service commitments across all Allied Credit's lending services, specifically focusing on the loan settlements and compliance process.
This will also include planning, reporting, and problem-solving when matters are escalated to the Team Leader.
Responsibilities

Leading and managing the Settlements team, balancing business needs and amazing service, whilst building strong internal and external relationships with our business partners.
Coaching and developing the team in quality and processes to achieve improved productivity, as well as ensure compliance with relevant legislation, corporate values, policies, and procedures.
Fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration across the team and with other divisions of the firm, including Sales, Acceptance, and Finance.
Ensure all loan documents and supporting documentation across our asset finance products are assessed, unaltered, and appropriately executed.
Verify asset status for lodgement availability, identify discrepancies, and resolve and obtain token of PPSR lodgement.
Exercise constant vigilance for the risk of fraud.
Assist the dealer network with enquiries relating to settlements, customer accounts, and credit.
Liaise with internal RSMs (Regional Sales Managers)/other RMs to effectively manage consumer and commercial customers through our processes.
Be the conduit between our customers, Introducers, and our internal teams including Sales, Acceptance, Lending Support & Settlements.
Perform relevant registrations for assets financed by Allied Credit via PPSR.

Your Background

Proven knowledge of Financial Services with a minimum of 5 years' Settlements or Finance Administration experience in a Responsible Lending environment with an understanding of retail lending across consumer and commercial product lines.
Proven experience in leading people and a desire to see your team develop and succeed.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal capabilities.
Well-developed negotiation and problem-solving skills with the ability to recommend process improvements and innovative solutions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools and Excel.
