Settlements Program Support Officer

The SETS Program Support Officer role is designed to support newly arrived refugees, migrants, and culturally diverse communities in their settlement process. The focus is on facilitating access to essential services, including education, employment, health, and community integration, and assisting clients in overcoming barriers to successful settlement in the Gippsland area.
This position will provide short-term support, needs identification, and care planning, tailored to the expressed goals, wishes, and needs of the client. The role will emphasize empowerment, capacity building, and community engagement to ensure that clients can independently navigate the services available to them.
The role operates within the context of the SETS Program, focusing on client-centred care, community integration, and advocacy, with the goal of enhancing the ability of clients to independently access and engage with community services.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: From $66,393.60 per year
Expected hours: 30.4 per week
