Your ability to build relationships and stay informed about industry trends will be essential as you work with lenders, clients, and external parties to ensure smooth settlement processes.Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the post-settlement process, managing contracts and documentation to ensure a seamless and efficient settlement.Mortgage Review: Conduct thorough reviews of formal loan documents prior to submission to clients for signature and approval.Lender Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with lenders, ensuring access to competitive mortgage products and services.Application Management: Guide clients through the mortgage application process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with lender requirements.System Proficiency: Utilise platforms such as Broker Engine and Broker Banking to complete settlements in a timely and efficient manner.Monitoring & Follow-up: Track key milestones and ensure all required documentation is submitted on time, ensuring settlements stay on schedule.Market Expertise: Stay informed on the latest Australian mortgage market trends, interest rate movements, and regulatory changes to provide accurate and timely advice to clients.Compliance: Ensure that all transactions and client engagements comply with industry regulations and ethical standards.Client Support: Provide ongoing support to clients throughout the mortgage process, addressing any inquiries and resolving issues to ensure satisfaction.Required Skills & Experience:2-4 years of experience in mortgage settlements or a similar role.Proficiency in using Australian banking platforms and tools like Sales Trekker and AOL (ideal).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a professional approach to interacting with clients and stakeholders.Experience working proactively with external Solicitors to ensure high service quality.Ability to plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines efficiently.Qualifications:Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking or Certificate IV in Banking Services.Alternatively, a university degree such as a Bachelor of Banking and Finance, Bachelor of Business (Finance).Experience using Sales Trekker, AOL and Australian banking platforms (ideal).Please be aware that this position is a full-time on-site role and work from home arrangements are not an option.
