About the Role Reporting to the Area Lead Service Governance, Coordination & Enablement, this pivotal role supports centralised program coordination and governance to enable the effective and efficient delivery of Melbourne Water's waterway and catchment obligations, programs and services. This will be achieved through:
Providing governance, coordination, and administrative support for services and programs, including financial tasks (payments, daily grant contract management), maintaining accurate data in databases and systems (Maximo, GIS, CRM), and engaging in customer service activities to bolster incentives, capital projects, maintenance, and other service delivery mechanisms.Oversee and streamline workflows for incentive programs at Melbourne Water, including managing contracts, processing payments, and handling customer inquiries.Assist in program and service reporting, ensuring accurate and timely capture of program tracking and progress dataHelp improve Waterways & Catchment Services by working in the "engine room," using real-time data, collaborating with different teams, and contributing to the design, implementation, and evaluation of initiatives.Salary: MW EA Leval 4 starting at $79,909 plus superannuation
The role is based at our Docklands head office blended with working from home and occasionally from regional offices.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, coupled with excellent customer service for interactions with both internal and external individuals.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with additional positive consideration for experience in Project and Visio.Quick adaptation to new data management systems, with favourable consideration for experience in Maximo, GIS (ESRI platforms), databases, grant management platforms, and Finance Support software such as Finance One.Capable of quickly grasping processes and procedures, working independently, self-managing, effectively prioritizing tasks and timelines, and demonstrating proficiency in collaborative teamwork.At Melbourne Water, we care about water and all life that springs from it.
