More about YOUR opportunity Our dedicated Operations Teams are the delivery arm of this execution, with a scope including repairs, maintenance, commissioning, modernization, optimization, consulting, advisory, training, and digitisation (IOT). In Australia & New Zealand, we have a large local presence, with over 2,500 employees and we cater to industries, like manufacturing, healthcare, mining, data centres, and utilities. We currently have a position for a Cooling Technician to join our NSWState Operations team, based out of SYDNEY. Reporting to the local Operations Manager, and forming part of dedicated local team, you will support our customers by providing maintenance and installation services for our complete range of cooling products including chillers, air handling units with adiabatic cooling and modular data centres. What will YOU do? Completing preventative and corrective/unscheduled maintenanceInspecting project installations prior to commissioning;Commissioning of equipmentAttending service callouts, completion of repairs and resolution of issuesProviding technical information and assistance on the range of Schneider Electric cooling equipment;Capturing accurate information relating to site visits, unit replacement, defective parts and equipment repairsBuilding strong relationships with customers and service partners;Role modelling and practicing safe work, including adherance to safety policies and procedures What YOU will need.... and we can teach the rest! Air conditioning and refrigeration licenceWorking knowledge of HVAC systems, controllers, test and measurement equipment and mechanical/refrigeration principlesRestricted electrical and refrigerated handling licence (preferred, but not essential) Some important extra info for YOU This position will require flexibilty to work some additional hours in peak times, and travel on occasion.
