Deep experience and capability with a genuine care about creating better lives for people along the way.Be part of the team that's up for the challenge of transforming lives for good.About the RoleJohn Holland has an opportunity for a Services Manager to join our team on the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP) in Torbanlea, 20-minutes inland from Hervey Bay.As Services Manager, you will provide leadership, support, and guidance in all aspects of building services management to the project.Relocation support and project allowances are provided.Responsibilities of the role include:Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and subcontractorsDevelop and implement strategies which support and enhance the business plans of the projectProvide technical support and advice to the Project Director and Project teamsPlan and implement strategic procurement initiativesCultivate a culture of delivering best practice, meeting client needs (internal and external), and proactive management of risk, SQE, and sustainabilityWhat we are looking for:Specialist trade and associate design qualificationsTertiary qualification in mechanical, electrical, or plumbingDemonstrated experience delivering technology and building services on similar projectsSignificant experience in engineering and technical management rolesPrior experience in a senior building services role for a Tier 1 contractor highly regardedAs part of the team, you can help us transform lives.Your success is reflected in ours, so we're committed to being an employer of choice.
