Julyardi is offering a new opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated employee to assist in delivering and managing services to our local Hedland Aboriginal Community.
You will be accountable for the day-to-day running of a team of community support workers and community engagement officers, including but not limited to establishing core relationships with various stakeholders, managing contract compliance, completing reporting, employee support, seeking grant funding and other funding opportunities, establishing and maintaining positive relationships with our clients and Elders.
We deliver services, provide wrap around support for young people, families, and Elders within the local Aboriginal community.
Salary SacrificingSubsidised housing - pending availability if eligibleOngoing training and developmentLaptop and mobile phoneMaking a difference in the lives of the Hedland Aboriginal communityKEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead a team.Provide effective communication and conflict resolution.Build positive relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies and services providers.Create an inclusive and culturally safe environment.Implement, deliver, and evaluate strong service delivery for individuals, and family support planning.Manage budgets and expenditure.Administration including driving and rolling out new software for stronger service delivery.Effectively multitask in a busy environment.Participate in contractual reporting requirements, to ensure organisational compliance, and organisational quality assurance.Applications for grant funding and other funding opportunities.SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with individuals, groups, and organisations.Exhibits accountability, professional integrity, respect for our Aboriginal communities, our Elders, clients, external clients, and visitors.Demonstrated ability to provide service delivery, advice, information, and assistance to a range of people.Demonstrated ability in areas of time management, working autonomously, and within a team.Understanding the importance of professional boundaries including privacy, confidentiality, and respect in the workplace.Supports effective operation of the local interagency governance group, including convening and facilitating regular meetings and enhancing stakeholder participation.Other Essential Requirements Experience in providing support in a similar role.Current Full C class licenseA National Police Certificate no more than 6 months oldYou are encouraged to apply if you identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person.
