You will be experienced with project coordination for commercial construction projects and supporting the delivery of building services design, installation, and commissioning.What you'll do:Contribute to the delivery of cost-effective services construction per project design and delivery briefOversee compliance with all safety, quality, design, authority and building code requirementsEnsure all client requirements are met for services packages in head and subcontractsMonitor the documentation of a project to meet brief and procurement requirementsAssist with reviewing changes to services design in line with budgetary constraintsAdhere to application of relevant green building / sustainability rating requirementsCoordinate work of subcontractors for installation of services packagesTrack programs and job plans, adjusting as required to meet scheduleCoordinate services design and pertaining procurement programRectify issues raised by external and internal stakeholdersReview sub-contractor claims and recommend approvalSupport rectification of services defects as requiredMonthly reporting for services installation progressIdentify new technologies for improving operationsAbout you:Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical), or equivalent trade background3 to 6+ years' relevant industry experience in services engineering, consulting, or coordinationPrior Tier 1 or 2 builder experience on site for large commercial building services projectsPractical knowledge of the NCC / BCA and relevant building services requirementsSound construction knowledge and understanding of building / construction tradesProven experience coordinating services subcontractors / consulting engineersWell versed with quality and safety requirements on construction projectsWell-developed planning, program management, stakeholder management, task management, collaboration, interpersonal and communication skillsHow you'll benefit:5-day work week (exception of Site Managers/Supervisors who work 10 days in 14, with every other Saturday off)Investment in training with the aim to have the best trained workforce in the industryFree health assessments for all staffPaid parental leave for both primary and secondary care giversFast-tracked career development opportunities and support our staff through mentoring, workshops and retreatsIndustry-leading internal communication channels to break down silos across sites, allowing staff to share ideas, lessons learnt and other resources.Kapitol values diversity and aims to build an inclusive environment that champions, embraces and respects differences.
