Services Assistant/Cleaner - Casual Pool Job no: 868086 Work type: Casual Location: Eyre and Western Categories: Catering and Hospitality Eyre and Far North Local Health Network, Ceduna District Health Services, Ceduna Salary: $27.93 - $28.23 per hour + 25% casual loading - Casual (up to 30 June 2025) - WHA2 Overview The Services Assistant plays a crucial role in delivering prompt, efficient, and high-quality service within the health unit.
Responsibilities encompass both catering and cleaning tasks.
This includes food preparation, serving, and ensuring timely delivery to clients, alongside maintaining cleanliness through general housekeeping duties.
Additionally, the Services Assistant may be tasked with handling general laundry duties.
Reporting directly to the General Services Team Leader on a daily basis, the Services Assistant holds ultimate accountability to the Director of Corporate Services.

The Ceduna District Health Services is run by the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network and includes Ceduna Hospital.
Ceduna Hospital has 15 inpatient beds and provides services including emergency, surgical, general medicine, birthing, renal dialysis, diagnostic radiology and outpatients.
There are also residential aged care services provided within the hospital, at the Kuhlmann Wing and Ceduna Senior Citizens Village.
There is also a GP family practice, Community Health services, Allied Health services, and Child, Adolescent and Adult Mental Health services offered on the hospital site.
