Penola War Memorial Hospital is seeking a Services Assistant to join our team on a casual basis .

Key Responsibilities: As a Services Assistant, you will play an essential role in the daily operations of the hospital by providing catering and cleaning services.
Your duties will include: Catering: Preparing, serving, and delivering meals to patients, including the preparation of vegetables, meat, salads, sandwiches, and breakfast trolleys.
Housekeeping: Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across the hospital, including mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning windows, toilets, and bed making.
Laundry Duties: Collecting and delivering linen to the appropriate areas.
General Cleaning: Ensuring hygiene standards are met through cleaning, sanitising, and waste disposal, in compliance with infection control and food safety regulations.
This role offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to be a vital part of the hospital's daily operations.
You will contribute to creating a clean, welcoming environment for patients and staff alike.

Experience: While prior experience in housekeeping, catering, or laundry is preferred, it is not essential.
