Aboriginal Services & Programs OfficerLocation – Junee Correctional Centre Salary – Clerk Grade 5/6. $93,295 - $102,941pa, plus super, leave loading and environmental allowance. Talent Pool Creation for Junee ONLY: Roles do not commence until 1 April 2025, and candidates may be selected from the Talent Pool as that date approaches.
This position is open to Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people only.
Your role In this role, you will deliver culturally respectful services, including facilitating group-based accredited or approved programs and providing individual support interventions for inmates. Your work will focus on ensuring their safe, secure, and humane management while aiming to reduce re-offending.
What you'll do You will assist inmates with pre-release and oversee the documentation and case notes on all inmates receiving services as required.

What we're looking for We are seeking a proactive and dedicated individual with a background in social work or professional experience working with individuals who display challenging behaviours.
A positive minded individual who is resilient by nature and able to effectively build positive relationships within a multidisciplinary team environment.

As an Identified role, this position is open only to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander persons.
