12 + 12 + 12 month contracts - Baseline clearance requiredBrisbane CBD, QLD or Civic, ACTLead and support work to administer and develop the ServiceNow platformOur client, a Federal Government department based in the Brisbane CBD, requires an experienced ServiceNOW Technical Lead for a long 12 + 12 + 12 month contract.
The ServiceNow Technical Lead will be the conduit between business and technical teams, leading and supporting work to administer and develop the ServiceNow platform. This includes the design and implementation of both out-of-the box and custom solutions to meet business needs.
The ServiceNow Technical Lead will: Lead, manage and mentor a development team, including setting priorities, allocating work, and fostering a high-performance culture.Develop and maintain development plans and schedules to ensure milestones are delivered on time, within budget, and of high quality.Apply strategic and systems expertise to design, develop, test, and implement solutions (i.e. integrations, customisations and/or enhancements).Develop best practices for ServiceNow development, assisting in documenting knowledge transfer materials and uplifting agency capability.Perform regular performance testing, maintenance, and upgrades to ensure system stability.Facilitate the rapid resolution of issues and/or faults within fielded ServiceNow applications and modules, and those still under development.Contribute to the continuous improvement of ServiceNow by monitoring and keeping abreast of new features and functionalities, providing recommendations for development, process, and systems enhancements.Selection Criteria Proven ability to lead, manage and mentor a development team to deliver quality results on time and within budget using Agile methodology.Proven hands-on technical lead experience working across the SDLC and acting as the conduit between business and technical teams.Designing, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow applications and integrations using best practices and standards, including ITSM, ITOM and HR.Developing and customising ServiceNow modules, workflows, forms, and scripts.Monitoring system health and proactively addressing any issues to minimise downtime.Using Microsoft development practices, platforms, and technologies.ServiceNow certification, such as ServiceNow Certified Administrator (CSA), ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist ITSM (CIS-ITSM) or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).IT frameworks, such as ITIL and TOGAF.Delivering large-scale ICT transformation projects/programs, preferably in a Commonwealth Government setting.Commonwealth Government frameworks, including the ICT frameworks.To apply for this ServiceNOW developer contract opportunity, please click the Quick Apply to forward your CV to Andy at the Recruitment Hive.
