Service Technician (Resident)

About the Role:
Based in Katherine, we have an opportunity for an experienced Mechanic to work in a field-based resident role. This varied role will see you working on world-class John Deere & Construction equipment and be supported by our Darwin branch.
We are keen to chat with candidates that have prior experience in performing basic & complex diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance on heavy machinery.
You will get the opportunity to work on:

Tractors, Combine Harvesters & Sprayers
Graders, Skid Steers, Excavators, Backhoes

You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

Mechanical Trade Certificate
Previous experience of engine overhauls and major repairs including electrical, hydraulic, and diagnostic skills.
A current and valid driver's licence
A mature attitude and logical and methodical approach to your work which will enable you to work through problems in both a workshop and field environment.
Possession of high-risk work tickets and/or licenses would be highly regarded.
