Together with our customers, Vestas' more than 29,000 employees are bringing the world sustainable energy solutions to power a bright future.About the RoleThis role is for a suitable qualified and enthusiastic electrical technician to work in our service team. The successful applicant must hold a recognised Australian trade certificate.The department is a small team environment based on site at Musselroe wind farm. The technicians report to the site supervisor and are responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the wind turbines in accordance with the contract.ResponsibilitiesUndertake scheduled service and reactive maintenance on as required basis in line with the Service Maintenance AgreementPerform all time registration, parts consumptions and technical feedback reporting as required for each jobRespond and attend site outside normal working hours to undertake reactive maintenance on an on-call and rostered basis.Maintain all company vehicles and plant and equipment in good clean conditionUndertake operations and maintenance within the limits of training and authorisation including operation of HV and LVEnsuring that each task is undertaken in a manner that ensures the safety of personnel, protects the environment and work methods are followed at all timesComplying with the duty of care assigned under WHS legislation and demonstrate commitment to accident preventionParticipate in safety, toolbox or other meetings where requiredParticipate in all required trainingWhat We OfferA professional safety cultureThe opportunity to further develop your skills and professional developmentGlobal career progression prospectsAll tools and training for the jobPPE, PC and LaptopSite vehicles for shared useRegional allowances and overtime payEmployee Assistance ProgramOptions for travel to explore other sitesRequirementsElectrical LicenseDriver's LicenseWillingness to learnAbility to pick up apps and technical platforms on a PC – advantageousVestas is an equal opportunity employer.
