ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYWe are seeking a full-time Service Technician to join our National Water Team.
We are looking for a motivated, multi-skilled and committed individual with hands-on experience within the water industry who wishes to take an active role within our current operations and continue to grow their skills and experience in the longer term.
This position will be permanently based at our fabrication workshops within the Western Sydney region, with site visits to our water treatment plants as necessary.
Key responsibilities in this position include: Local procurement and facilitation of mechanical installations of mobile water treatment systems.Overseeing design, fabrication/assembly, and commissioning of our mobile water treatment systems.Supervising a team of service technicians, electricians, plumbers, welders, painters, general labourers, etc.Overseeing truck loading/unloading activities including cranage and handling.Inspecting and maintaining demobilised water treatment equipment delivered to storage yard and refurbishing for future use.ABOUT YOUWe are looking for a flexible, self-motivated, professional and enthusiastic person with the following attributes:
Experience in procuring and facilitating mechanical installations of mobile water treatment systems.Ability to understand engineering drawings such as P&IDs, 3D models and operation manuals.Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, as well as other engineering related software such as Navis Works, Inventor, AutoCAD, etc.Unrestricted Forklift and/or telehandler licence.White Card.WHAT WE GIVE YOU IN RETURN:Rewarding and important work that makes a difference to the community and the environment.
